Day 493: Sidekick'd

I went through sincere panic late last night/early this morning... after a great catch-up chat with Terence, as I was readying myself to hit the hay, I suddenly noticed I had no phone. Now, normal people would just shrug it off, move on, and figure it out in the morning. Minor detail: I have no other phone, I have no other clock, I have no other ALARM!
It wasn't until nearly midday today that I got crisp word from NorthOak that indeed I had left my phone there after dinner with Sara... meanwhile I'd checked at Doppio, scoured the parking lot in case I'd dweebishly left it on top of my car and driven away, and even torn my car apart in the dead of the night.
